James Horner, composer of multiple Hollywood film scores, has tragically died in a plane crash.

Mr. Horner’s film career began in the late 1970s. He scored the Roger Corman cult classic Battle Beyond The Stars and a few other “B” Films before scoring Star Treks II and III. He would go on to write music for multiple Hollywood blockbusters such as Willow, Honey I Shrunk The Kids, Apollo 13, The Amazing Spider-Man, and perhaps most notably Titanic and Avatar for James Cameron.

We at A1 and Geekville extend our condolences to the Horner family and friends.
