Cora Combs, trained by Billy Wolfe, faces June Byers, trained by Mae Young. Both of these women were entering the prime of their careers. Cora Combs has a 40 year career, and was elected into the Professional Wrestling Hall Of Fame in 2013 before passing away this week.
June Byers held the NWA World Womens Title for two straight years. She was elected posthumously into the Professional Wrestling Hall Of Fame in 2006.
