It seems to be that there will be fewer singles matches that Round One, which is a little disappointing.

YOSHI-HASHI p. Chase Owens with Karma – Owens tried to end it early with a Package Piledriver, but Hashi reversed into a Butterfly Lock. The match went to the floor, and Owens whipped Hashi into the barricade, and then into the ring. The latter was to play off the story of Hashi injuring himself on a ring apron last year. Nicholls then got the heat and worked over Hashi. He used a Sasri-Gatame (Sharpshooter/Scorpion Deathlock), but Hashi got the rope break. Owens tried a Package Piledriver on the apron. Taichi got a near call with another lariat and hit a Last Ride Powerbomb of his own. Ishii still kicked out. Ishii reversed Black Mephisto into a piledriver. Somehow Taichi no-sold this and shot to his feet. A pair of lariats by Ishii still only got a two count. Taichi hit a low blow unseen by Red Shoes and used a Gedo Clutch. Ishii still kicked out. This time, Ishii connected with the sliding lariat, and finally hit the brainbuster for the pin.

Overall a good show, but it was a bit lame that there were only two tournament matches.
